Installation Engineer

Recruitment: Installation Engineer – South West (Bristol, Somerset, BANES)

Job Summary:

Working alone, or with other Engineers within the team, Installation Engineers provide professional and dependable quality of service to customer/contractors by installing intruder alarm systems, CCTV, Access control & Fire alarm solutions in a timely manner.

Main Duties:

  • Seeing Installation projects through to completion and reporting to Projects Supervisor/Manager.
  • Installation of new containment including conduits and cable trays/baskets and systems associated wiring to meet system, company and project specific requirements.
  • Completing the necessary paperwork and documenting in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with final systems commissioning.

Skills & Experienced preferred:

  • Experience of installing Fire/security systems
  • Experience as a multi-disciplined Fire & or Security Engineer
  • Experience of Gent, Advanced, Hochiki and other fire alarm systems
  • Experience of commissioning would be an advantage

Skills & Experienced required:

  • Full driving license required and willing to travel throughout UK including overnight stays where required
  • Flexible attitude and approach including excellent interpersonal skills
  • Confident, friendly and can conduct themselves in a professional manner
  • Enhanced security check clearance
  • H&S trained

Package negotiable, subject to experience.
