Recruitment: Service Administrator
The Service Administrator is an integral part of the Service & Maintenance team and assists the Service Manager with all aspects of Service & Maintenance administration.
This includes answering external enquiries by phone or by email, scheduling Engineers rota’s, and booking in maintenances.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Booking maintenances, including Security, Fire Alarms System as well as Portable Extinguishers.
- Closing down maintenance jobs and adding further actions to Microsoft Planner ready for quoting.
- Answering phones and providing cover between office hours.
- Scheduling Engineers on a job by job basis when required.
- Obtaining clients purchase orders for Engineer attendances.
- Assist with information & service desk inbox – emails to/from service desk.
- Setting up contracts on the internal customer database platform (CASH).
- Updating client portals.
Additional Duties
- Assist Service Manager with order delivery database administration including raising purchase orders (DCM).
- Any other task or duties reasonably requested by the Service Manager.
Experience required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Relevant administrative experience in a similar role (Fire & Security experience desirable)
- Good organisational & communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Teams etc..
