DNV GL is a ship and offshore classification society, a technical advisor to the global oil and gas industry, and an expert for the energy value chain including renewables and energy efficiency. It’s one of the top three global certification bodies, employing over 16,000 people worldwide.

Garrad Hassan & Partners Ltd, now part of DNV GL, has been using Sovereign since 2001 to supply and maintain intruder and fire alarm systems at their Bristol site.

“It is important to us that the security company we use is trustworthy, that the systems work, are easy to use and reliable, that the service engineers are competent and reliable, that the costs reflect the service provided, with quick response time in emergencies. We have several buildings, each with a different model of intruder and fire alarm system, some of them over ten years old so not always easy to maintain.  There is high possibility of user error, as over 200 staff has the ability to set off the intruder alarm.  One building is Grade II* listed so the fire alarm has to meet existing legislation in an old building set-up and not ruin the character of the building.  “
